Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Shrikshetra, Dharmasthala, President of SDME Society, Ujire (D.K.), a Padmabhushana Awardee, recipient of national and international awards for his social service activities, a great champion of vocational education, a commited defender for rural development and upliftment of downtrodden, a, master for carrying out several cultural projects especially in as many as 81 villages of Belthangady Taluk (Mangalore Dist), a promoter of ancient arts, culture and heritage, a recipient of D. Litt.(Hon.) from Mangalore University, also Chairman, Janatha Shikshana Samithi, Dharwad is the guiding force of SDMCET.

Prof. N. Vajrakumar , Vice President, SDME Society, Ujire., is a champion in building & presenting institutions, an excellent academician and has a wide administrative experience. He is also the Secretary for Janata Shikshana Samithi, Dharwad, which runs several Educational Institutions in Dharwad.

Prof. S. Prabhakar

Prof. S. Prabhakar: Having long experience in teaching and administration, Prof. S. Prabhakar served as the founder Principal of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College, Ujire from its inception in 1966 till 1993 and as Secretary of SDME Society/Trust from 1965 to 2005, and its Vice President since then. Hailing from the Jaina royal family of Suralu, he was a brilliant student securing gold in his Master Degree and has to his credit some text books on Political Science. A prolific writer in Kannada and an excellent orator both in Kannada and English, he has been the Editor of almost all the publications of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala since 1965. A strict disciplinarian, he is very systematic in work, highly punctual, steadfast and a humanitarian.

Sri D. Surendra Kumar
Vice President,SDME Society,Ujire.

Sri D. Surendra Kumar: A graduate in Law, actively involved in administration of SDM institutions as the Vice-President, responsible for development and progress of all institutions under Society. Shri. Surendra Kumar is a friendly person, but unfailing in his duties. He is modern and broadminded in outlook but equally dedicated to tradition and culture. Younger brother of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggadeji, he is active in social activities also. He is the National President of BJM, Vice President of FJEI & the Vice President of Dharmothana Trust. He is also one of the Directors of Karnataka Bank.

Dr. B. Yashovarma

Dr. B. Yashovarma: Managing the dual role of the Principal of SDM (autonomous)College, Ujire and the Secretary of SDME Society, Dr. B. Yashovarma has proved to be an efficient executive. Young and softspoken, he infuses confidence among his associates and colleagues. A good orator with brilliant ideas and sharp academic convictions, he has a clear vision. He has to his credit the great achievement of taking SDM College, Ujire to the pinnacle of its glory.

Sri D. Harshendra Kumar: Shoulders the responsibility of educational institutions as the Secretary & also looks after the day-to-day administration of Dharmasthala. He is the third son of Late Sri D. Rathnavarma Heggade of Dharmasthala. He is a practical administrator knowing the real pulse of people. He tackles problems swiftly and efficiently and finds solutions that are acceptable to all. He has great concern for students, youngsters and the devotees. His unquestioned dedication to the Kshetra and his elder brother has resulted in all-round development in the Organization.

Sri. Jinendra Prasad , Secretary,SDME Society,Dharwad. is qualified with B. Sc. in Agriculture and M. Sc. in Economics.He joined the SDME Society, Dharwad in 2001 in the capacity of Executive Officer (General Administration) and he worked in this position till November, 2005 before taking up the current position as the Secretary of SDME Society, Dharwad.
