In order to inculcate and spread the research culture on the campus, the Association has decided to fund faculty initiated projects of significance for scientific and social causes from amongst the undergraduate projects. So far nearly 20 such projects have been funded by the Association.

The following projects have been selected for funding through Alumni Association for the year 2006-07. The funding will be to the tune of Rs.3,000/- per project. The faculty and the student are hereby informed to complete their project and get the amount reimbursed at the end.

They will have to produce a certificate from the respective Heads of Departments, to the effect that

1)    The funds are utilized purely for the project for which it is sanctioned.

2)     Any project component / model etc. which has been created under the project is handed over to the department.

3)     One page write up on the project including title, members involved, abstract and results

4)     If the project receives funding from any other agency this sanction stands cancelled.
