Financial assistance to poor and needy students in association with Vidya Poshak:

The Association provided matching grants to an NGO ‘Vidya Poshak’ for extending Financial Assistance to poor and meritorious students admitted to SDMCET, Dharwad. The task of identification of such students is carried out in an exhaustive manner by the NGO. This program has already benefited more than 50 students in the last two years.The Association has earmarked Rs. 50,000/- for this purpose in financial year 2005-06, 2006-07.

The annual activity of contributing to Vidya Poshak was arranged on 22nd Jan'10.Our beloved president Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade handed over a cheque of Rs 75,000 to the Vidya Poshak officials.
