1. To encourage the R & D activities in the campus, Alumni Association has started, funding faculty initiated students projects involving Research elements. During 2004-05 two projects were funded to the tune of Rs. 12,000/- . This activity is being continued every year.

2. Towards social commitment alumni association has an agreement with another NGO ‘Vidyaposhak’ for extending financial support to meritorious but poor students studying in SDMCET, Dharwad. The Association has earmarked Rs. 50,000/- for this purpose in this financial year. This activity is being continued every year.

3. Alumni Association Book Bank has been inaugurated on 19.04.2008 and is distributing one book per student of first year batch.
