SDMCET today is an institution with 10 academic departments, nearly 150 faculty members and more than 2300 students to its credit. College is engaged in offering both
Under Graduate (B.E.) and Post Graduate (M.Tech.) Degree Courses in addition to its endeavors in research & continuing education programs. This year, college is adding another Post Graduate degree program ( M. B. A.) and a new department ( Department of Management of Studies) to its credentials. Since inception, College has committed to quality technical education and has been recognized by the country for the same. Especially in recent years, research related engagements are being promoted actively to establish synergy between Research and Teaching. For long years college has been practicing a variety of student centric activities in Co-Curricular and Extra curricular domains.
